Congratulations to Aldermen Ann Rainey, Cheryl Wollin, & Elizabeth
Tisdahl on the completion of the International Association of Fire Fighters
Fire Ops 101 held in Chicago on October 20, 2007.

Alderman Liz Tisdahl donned protective gear and climbed an Ariel ladder, used hose lines,
went through a simulated fire situation, and enjoyed a hands on fire experience.

Congrats to the
Local 742 Pony League team who came away with the
Pony League championship on Sunday.  It was a great game, solid hitting,
pitching and defense.  Coached by Local 742 Member Greg Klaiber.

Thanksgiving 2006

 

 

The pictures above are of the Thanksgiving baskets (turkey and all the fixings)
purchased with union funds to feed 12 local families through Family
Focus. The baskets were greatly appreciated. I would like to thank Tim
Gobat, PJ Casey, my wife Sandee and all the guys at station 1 - shift 2
for all their help putting the baskets together.
